What to Expect at Service
We may be a small church but we are big on the Holy Spirit and the truth of Jesus Christ!
Our goal is to disciple the church to reach the world: from our next door neighbors to the people around the world, and all of those in-between! Everyone is welcome!
During the service you will worship thru contemporary songs, classic hymns and prayers.
You will hear a message that will encourage emotionally, feed you spiritually and guide you mentally from our pastor and ministers.
Our goal is that when you leave, you have received the truth of God’s Word, made some new friends, become part of the family and look forward to returning the next week!
Nursery
We have a nursery area for our youngest members of our family.
What Should I Expect for My Kids?
Our desire is that your children learn to be all that Jesus has called them to be according to His Word. We will teach them to learn the core values of Converse First Baptist Church: Worship, Discipleship, Evangelism, Ministry and Fellowship- the foundational principles of being a well-rounded and developing disciple of Christ. Our goal is to teach your children how to love God and love people through God’s Word all while living His Word. And to have fun doing so!
Our goal is that you and your children leave feeling loved, encouraged, and part of the Converse First Baptist family.
Children’s Ministry
We have a children’s ministry to provides for the physical, emotional and spiritual development of your children thru 3rd grade.
Youth Ministry
We have a growing youth ministry that teaches the ‘older’ kids 4th grade through 12th grade to not only have their own faith, but how to share it, protect it and live it

Grounded in Christ
Our core values center on worship, discipleship,evangelism, ministry, and fellowship.
In woship, we collectively gather together to praise and honor our Lord God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit.
In discipleship, we train one another to follow the teachings and truths of the Holy Bible, equipping one another to go into the world and train others to the same truths and teachings.
In evangelism, we share the Word of God with all of the world around us, so that they may discover the truth of the Holy Bible and of the tricks the devil uses against them to keep them separated from the truth.
In ministry, we work to serve one another, to honor God through our words and deeds, in all that we do.
In fellowship, we gather together regularly to learn and grow with one another, both within the church and outside of the walls of the building, to deepen our relationships with one another and with God.
Voices of Lights
A great place for people of all ages the sermon are great and they have a class for kids during the sermon

This church is small and loving. The sermons are rooted in the scriptures, and they have a food pantry for the community on Wednesdays.
